Benefits of Yogurt for Skin Protection

Yogurt is the source of healthy body and full of proteins, calcium and potassium along with numerous vitamins and minerals while being low in calories. White source is known to be the good for facial mask. Here are some beneficial tips for you to taking good care of skin.
  • For dry skin add some honey in yogurt and apply regularly on the skin for 15minutes. The honey provides extra moisture to skin.
  • If your skin is dull apply the plain yogurt all over the face and sit for 15 to 20 minutes and wash it off with Luke warm water.
  • Another very affected mask for you mix 2-3 tbsp yogurt with 2tbsp-grated carrot. Apply this mixture on your face and leave for 20 minutes. Rinse with Luke warm water.
  • To brighten the skin mix 3tbsp yogurt with 1tbsp of cocoa powder and 1tbsp honey. Blend all together till it becomes a thick paste and apply this over the face. Let the mask for 15 minutes and wash with fresh water. This facemask is very effective for remove the blemishes and dullness from skin and leaves the skin healthy fresh, clear and bright.
  • To exfoliate the skin with yogurt use the 2tbsp yogurt with 1tbsp oats. Gently message on the face in circular motion. It is great scrub to exfoliate the dead skin cells and makes the skin brighter.
  • To remove the blackheads and white heads take some rice powder and yogurt and blend them together in to thick paste. Rub the paste on to the skin. Let sit for while and wash with fresh cold water. This works amazing to remove black and white heads from the skin and makes the skin clearer look.
  • Yogurt is great for removing the blemishes from the face. Just apply the plan yogurt all over the face and wait for 20 minutes after that wash with fresh water.
  • To get rid of dark circles apply the thin layer of yogurt under the eyes and wait for 15 minutes at least. Wipe of the excess yogurt with a cotton ball and go to bed. Repeat this daily for a week and see the difference.
  • Reduce the blotches and age spots from the face by rubbing the yogurt with lemon juice on to the face and wait for 30 minutes. Repeat three times a day for best results. You can use orange juice instead of lemon.
  • For removing tan mix yogurt with half tbsp turmeric, 2tbsp lemon juice with half cup of honey. Apply this mask on the effected area and let it stay on the face for 30 to 40 minutes. Rinse with fresh cold water.
  • If you want you can add the besan in yogurt to remove the tan from the face. Besan along with yogurt is perfect for removing blemishes and works excellent as a scrub.
